*UPDATE* Meetings & Logic office
PLEASE NOTE THIS BLOG HAS BEEN UPDATED FOLLOWING RECEIPT OF GOVERNMENT ADVICE AS AT 18 MARCH 2020
The coronavirus pandemic is clearly a significant issue. We’re closely monitoring Government instructions and taking all necessary measures to protect our staff, their families, and our clients.
Here’s the latest on our plans to maintain ‘business as usual’ in the coming months.
The Logic office
Following receipt of the latest advice, we are preparing for the fact we may have to close the office in the short term. This is to protect our staff and their families, as well as those clients who like to meet with us in Watlington.
However we are well prepared to continue to provide a service to clients:
- our computer systems are all cloud-based;
- any post received will continue to be checked; and
- there will be someone at the end of the phone if you want to call us, even if we are all have to work remotely.
Meetings
We have changed our stance on holding face to face meetings. Following the latest advice, we have taken the decision to stop all face-to-face meetings between our advisers and our clients. We believe this to be a prudent and necessary measure to protect all concerned.
Instead we will ‘meet’ with clients remotely by using video calls (like Skype/FaceTime) or just good old telephone. All review meetings will be conducted in this way for the time being.
If you have a face to face meeting already scheduled with a Logic adviser, you will be contacted shortly to agree the best way forward.
Client portfolios
We have recently emailed clients in light of the current market turmoil. While it is true we have received quite a number of calls and messages in recent days, it is gratifying that the majority of clients are remaining calm and looking to ride out the current storm. As such the office hasn’t been overwhelmed with calls, meaning that we can continue with our job of working on behalf of our clients.
Business as usual
We continue to be extremely grateful to those of you who regularly recommend us to your friends and colleagues – please don’t stop this over the coming months! We appreciate that people wouldn’t necessarily want to invest right now (some might) but as you are all aware we advise on a wide range of financial matters, not just investments.
Communicating with you
We will aim to post regularly on here so please check back periodically to see what is happening at Logic. We will provide further updates as the situation evolves and will continue to provide updates as they relate to the economy and markets too. If you have any questions, please email us and we will respond accordingly.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do get in touch in the normal ways.
